April 5, 2010 the homeowners met with the airport athority. Their it was explaned that for airport residents to have access to the airfield a monthly charge of $180.00 would be the new access fee. When discussions contenued and shifted to then the use of the TTF acess (now considered commercial) would be a great deal for some of the residents who own and operate FBO shops on the field due to the current $3,000 a month rent they currently pay to the airfield. This was met with hostilities from the airport athority who stated that the fee did not include a access for business but only for non-commercial access of residents to use the field.

It was then discussed as to why we are being charged the $180.00 and not somene who flys into the field. i.e discrimination.

It was also noted that the property would be fenced off from access by the airport, billed to the residents and no access allowed. This then brought about the question of property value and the fact that if the airport proceeded along those lines the residents value would decrease some $200,000 .00 and thus the county which runs the airport would lose over 2,000 per house in tax value. To which the airport director said he didn't care what the value of the residents went to.

A lot of people then got up and left the meeting before it was over... discusted by the treatment they recieved by a public servent.

A letter of unacceptable issues was then sent to the County airport athority by the homeowners who now are considering discrimination suit against both the county and the FAA
